The story of the Daytona

The Daytona is the house chronograph and takes its name from the Daytona circuit in Florida, where American motor racing set its speed records. Its bezel does not turn: it carries an engraved tachymetric scale that reads average speed directly once you time a kilometre. The sub-dials are what give rise to nicknames like the Panda, depending on whether they contrast with the dial or not.
